B.Com or Hotel Management after 12th?
There is nothing that one is better than the other, because it entirely depends on your interest and skillset you possess.
B.Com is more of general accounting degree with scope to specialise in different fields in higher studies like – finance (MBA, CFA), accounts (M.Com, CA, ICWA), HR (MBA), Economics (MA)
Hotel Management is a niche category and hence students who are completely focussed on a career in hotel industry should be the ones who should opt for it.
Thus, your interest is utmost important, followed by the various academic and other skillset you possess.
For eg., if you take B.Com, you should be good in accounting subjects, as major subjects are accounting based, and you should be good with numbers.
So, check out where your interest lies the most, and then check out the subjects that you would deal with, and finally compare the skillset you posses to tackle the course.
Career wise both are good options.
