To get in to aeronautical field, you need to get an engineering degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.

Ideally it could be better if one takes a Mechanical/Electronics engineering related degree for graduation and take Aero in their masters.

To get to work specifically in the aero industry it is better to get a masters degree rather than just a graduation degree.

If you take mech/electronics in your graduation, you open up more options for your masters, as in case you don’t want to get in to aero after graduation, you then have other options in hand too, to specialise. If you directly take aero in graduation, then your options narrows down to that field, and hence ideally students are advised to take mech/electronics route and then if interest persist for aero, one can take it in masters.
