Eligibility, Entrance Exams and Institutes

The minimum qualification to pursue Chartered Accountancy in India is a pass in XII (12th) or graduation (any stream). Students  can enroll with the Institute for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) after passing class X (10th) examination (conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto).

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the Chartered Accountancy course in India.
