The Odisha government has decided to conduct the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) test, a qualifying test for teaching job aspirants, twice in a year.
“The government has decided to conduct the OTET test on the first Sunday of June and December of every year,” School and Mass Education Minister, Shri. Debi Prasad Mishra told reporters.
Earlier, there was no specific time frame scheduled by the government for the OTET test conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), due to which the Board faced problems in conducting the OTET examination.
So, to meet the requirement of teachers, OTET examination would be conducted twice a year.
