Great news for students who are currently doing their class XII (12th standard).
The Times of India has undertaken an initiative viz., ‘Times Scholars’ to recognize and reward bright students who are currently doing their 12th standard.
Along with the confusion on what course to choose after 12th, the biggest dilemma faced by students is financial support. Bright students who aspire to get in to the best of institutes often back off considering the cost involved in fees etc., in top universities / institutes.
A scholarship is a huge relief for such bright students, and Times would be providing each selected students a cash scholarship worth Rs. 5 lac, over a period of 4 years of their graduation.
The Eligibility criteria is that the student should be currently studying in Class XII (12th) of any school in India.
The last date for submission of form is September 10, 2012.
