The King’s courses will equip them with cutting-edge knowledge and study skills that are crucial for a head start in higher education internationally.’
Scholarship winners of last year at the Summer School were all praises for the programme – Vir Singh, a scholarship student from last year’s International Political Economy course said: ‘I believe the quality of the Mumbai Summer School is phenomenal, the experience was wonderfully intuitive as I learnt whilst having fun.’
Another student who won last year said, ‘The lectures were based around providing us with tools and skills that could be exercised in actual business scenarios. The students are much more involved in the discussions, thus helping us to get more out of our study. Academics encouraged us to read extensively, to research thoroughly and to question what we have learnt at every opportunity, whilst simultaneously pushing us to achieve our best and go beyond.
‘Even the exchange of views, promotion of new ideas and the effective use of case studies made this a truly great learning platform. The research-centric approach ensures that students get the best out of the course and are also able to creatively find solutions to challenging situations that are faced in the real business world.’
